What this page is for

This page sets out, in plain words, the limits of what INCLUDED NEWS content can do for you. It is not an attempt to dodge responsibility for our journalism; our Corrections Policy and Editorial Standards show how seriously we take that. It is an honest statement about what news is and is not, so that no reader mistakes a news article for professional advice or a fast moving story for settled fact.

News changes, especially breaking news

We cover breaking and developing stories, and the defining feature of a developing story is that the facts are still arriving. Casualty figures get revised. Officials correct their own statements. Early eyewitness accounts turn out to be partial. An article that was accurate at the moment we published it can be overtaken by events an hour later. We manage this by labeling developing stories, timestamping updates, and correcting errors under our Corrections Policy, but no label can freeze reality. Before acting on a fast moving story, check the timestamp, and treat the most recent update as the operative one.

General information only

Everything on includednews.com is published for general information and news purposes. It is provided in good faith, but we make no representation or warranty, express or implied, about the completeness, reliability or availability of any information on the site. Any reliance you place on our content is at your own risk, and decisions you make remain your own.

Not financial advice

Our business desk reports on markets, companies, currencies, commodities and economic policy. None of it is investment advice, trading advice or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. Market coverage describes what has happened and what named sources say may happen; it does not know your finances, your goals or your risk tolerance. Prices move after we publish. If you are making investment decisions, consult a licensed financial adviser, and never invest money you cannot afford to lose on the strength of a news article, ours or anyone’s.

Not medical advice

Our science and lifestyle coverage sometimes touches health: studies, treatments, outbreaks, nutrition, fitness. Reporting on a study is not an endorsement of its findings, and a single study is rarely the final word on anything. Nothing we publish is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read here. For questions about your health, talk to a qualified clinician; for emergencies, contact your local emergency services immediately.

Not legal or professional advice

The same applies to coverage of laws, regulations, court cases, taxes, immigration rules and consumer rights. Laws differ by jurisdiction and change over time, and reporting on a legal development is not legal advice. For decisions that carry legal, tax or professional consequences, consult a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.

Opinions and analysis

Where we publish opinion or analysis, it is labeled as such and represents the view of the piece, not a statement of fact and not necessarily the view of INCLUDED NEWS as a publication. Our Editorial Standards page explains how we keep news and opinion separate.

Third party links and advertising

Our articles link to external sites because showing our sources is part of honest journalism. We do not control external sites, and a link is not an endorsement of everything found at the destination. Advertising displayed on the site is provided by third parties; the products and claims in those ads belong to the advertisers, and their appearance here is not our recommendation. Some product related articles may contain affiliate links, which are disclosed where they occur and explained on our Ownership & Funding page.

Errors and corrections

Despite verification before publication, errors will sometimes reach the page. When they do, our Corrections Policy governs what happens: prompt correction, visible labeling, and transparency about what changed. If you spot an error, report it to support@includednews.com with the subject line Correction; you will be helping every reader who comes after you.

Questions

If anything on this page is unclear, or you are unsure how it applies to something we published, ask us at support@includednews.com. We would rather answer a question than have a reader misread the limits of what news can responsibly claim.
